Welcome to the Bengali Association of Nebraska!
The Bengali Association of Nebraska (BANE) is a US non-profit organization which serves the ethnic Bengali population in Omaha, Lincoln and neighboring communities. Since its inception in 2006, the association has been promoting Bengali culture and awareness by hosting cultural programs through out the year and celebrating prominent Bengali events such as Saraswati Puja, Paila Baishak , Rabindra Jayanti and Durga Puja.

Thank you to all our volunteers for help with decorations, cooking, puja
preparations, and cleaning! Because of your support, BANE was able to make a
donation to earthquake victims in Haiti.
BANE Classical Music Concert 2009

The Bengali Association of Nebraska
hosted a special musical event with the UNO Department of Music on Friday,
November 6th. The brilliant musicians Shree Chirag
Katti and Shree Aditya Kalyanpur performed a stunning classical music concert on
the sitar and tabla.
